People have speculated guardian tech forms the basis of anti-thargoid weapons. Noticed similarity of blue glow. Shape of object inside the warhead and also shape of Thargoid Anti shutdown device.
Are FD going reduce engineering RNG?

Powerplay Unpledge Notice – Due to the changes coming in with Powerplay and consensual PvP, Any cmdr with 0 merits assigned against them on the 26th will be unpledged from their power. This is to stop people who haven’t ‘Powerplayed’ for a time not to be seen as fair game by PvP’s. There is nothing stopping you re-pledging after the 26th but if you have a single merit, you will remain pledged and therefore seen as fair game for any PvP players in Open and the Private Groups. So, if you want to PvP, go Powerplay!
Good thread and some good posts re the future of exploring along with a lot of “that ship has sailed”
ED-RPG – Backers can collect their books (and dice) from the expo on 7th Oct.
Anyone who is interested should email firstname.lastname@example.org with the email address they used to back us with and the name they opted to go for in the credits.
Mobius PVE group – There appears to be a little confusion about PvP rules within Combat Zones in the PVE group raised by the present CG. At the moment, you can fire on other players in a CZ if they are on the other side. However constant player killing in the CZs is frowned upon and if you keep on killing Cmdrs, you will get banned. Due to the number of incidents of ‘Not so Friendly Fire’, they are thinking about a blanket PvP Ban, even in CZs. We’ll let you know what they decide.

Statement from editor of Colonia Gazette
After weeks of hard graft the Colonia Citizens Network have released a new website for all things related to what’s happening out in Colonia. Put together by Commanders Qohen Leth, Shaux Faux (pronounced “Show Foe”) and many others it’s a hive of information, such as the upcoming ‘Gravity Limbo’ and ‘Cheese Rolling’ Events, Discord information and it also now hosts the ‘Colonia Gazette’ who are hosting a ship-kit giveaway to celebrate the new site.

From Cmdr Dissington As the Exploration CG for Jacques finished 3 weeks early – leaving many cmdrs (I assume – certainly me 😉 ) partway there with a computer full of exploration scans, should Frontier we approaching CG Tiers better? Personally I spent 12-15 hours of game time on my own without a soul about jumping that way, time effectively wasted. They obviously got the tiers on this one completely wrong otherwise it’d still be running. In fact I have no idea why they finish when they reach the top tier, just leave them running and don’t increase any of the rewards surely? Especially on a CG 22,000 ly away

Initial Message was put together from some binary hidden inside of the gamescom clips. “We’ve found something. Something incredible. Something the whole galaxy will want to see. The truth The truth. We could show it to you, that wouldn’t be much fun so instead we’re going to play a little game. To find us, look for a bounty hunter. To find more clues you’ll need pre-logistics support in a system with one star, two belts, three rings, and enough radiation to turn you green. The hunt begins on the 28th.”
Born out of the August Exodus – A Jaunt to Jaques expedition of July/August 3302, The CCN Discord communication hub is a place for those dedicated to working in and around the Colonia Nebula, helping to establish and protect the first human colony beyond frontier borders. It is hoped that this communication hub will help bring together the fledgling community and encourage CG cooperation, joint ventures, projects, provide entertainment, and be a great source of information on all developing colonial affairs.
