Community question

I remember way back when I was a newbie pilot just after the Epic giveaway, there were several crashed Anacondas being discovered. I was heading out to the most recently discovered crash site, and when I arrived I saw there was already two other CMDRs on the ground in SRVs. I went out of my way to fly around their SRVs(so they wouldn’t think I was hostile) and landed near their ships, and deployed my own SRV. Between that time, and arriving at the crash site, FIVE more CMDRs arrived at the scene, all friendly, though I did get nervous when the FDL showed up, but they never shot at anyone. The best part, was when I managed to get my Scarab stuck on some random crash debris, and just about the time I was preparing to ask for help, I noticed a hollow triangle approaching rapidly. Some other CMDR had witnessed my idiocy and struggle to get free, and was already on route to ram me free. To this day I don’t know who that CMDR was, but if you’re reading this, thanks bud!

I was with Nikki Dangerous doing an on foot mission. I was distracting a NPC while Nikki sneaked up behind them to zap them in the bum. Just as she charged the overload tool the NPC moved and I got zapped in the nuts instead. It was so hilarious😂
  3. Kaytianna
When we had the birthday celebrations for the Squadron and found a random war and fought each other for hours. Old school FPS styles. Just ace!
  4. Cmdr Andrew Johnson
Loving playing in multiplayer especially on foot CZ. Highlight was a Cmdr teammate jumping on an enemy drop ship and be dropped back in to the battle, but on the opposite side to the rest of us 😳
  5. Seraphin
I do love MC for all its tech faults. I most recently used it to get a friend, who only occasionally jumps into ED, into Xeno Combat by becoming my gunner.
We flew in a squad action and he got to experience all the fun without having to spend all the grind time.
  6. Coehoorn
My highlight was the one time multicrew with my friends worked out without bugs or the game crashing… Was a fun time dogfighting in SLFs.
  7. Zak Smash
Joining the game back in 2017  and watching an old school friend who like me was crazy about the original Elite back in 85/86, leaving a spacestation to meet me for the very first time. My long gone 15 year old school boy self was simply grinning a huge “Wowwww!”

  9. Tweaked74
Too many to count through my 7k hours.  I miss those good old days.
  10. Thedourscot
The massive queuing system that formed outside the station when psykit had a mass Frontline stream. The frontline was a lot of fun too!
  11. Psykit
Loads of AX stuff has been great, but getting about 20 of us together and fighting in a random ground CZ was so much fun.
  12. Johnleegriffin (in chat)
some of my squadron and I went to the crystal shards system, I borrowed an SRV from cmdr Ninja Space Unicorn’s ship, I disembarked from the SRV to scan a few plants, turned around to get back in the SRV but gravity seemed not to apply to it and it was floating off slowly.
  13. cmdr Terekhov (in discord)
Most of my multiplayer in ED has been fuel ratting. The experience that stands out to me was a code red (client on emergency o2) rescue. With the client logged out of game, myself and another rat flew a bearing to where the client was and it appeared the client was near a planet.
We logged the client back in and myself and the other rat dropped to the client, only to find that due to the client’s position we both instanced about 40km away.  We boosted as hard as we could knowing that the client could only have a few seconds of oxygen left. and eventually I got a limpet of fuel to the client.
In the post rescue “debrief” chat I enquired as to how low the o2 counter got. “Just one second “was the reply.
I was physically shaking for several minutes after hearing that.
