Frontier expects to report revenue of approximately £64 million for the period compared to £19 million recorded in the interim results last year.
Based on trading performance in the first six months of the financial year, combined with sales over the Christmas holiday period, the Board remain comfortable with the analyst revenue projections of £75 million to £88 million for FY19 (the year ending 31 May 2019) and anticipate that revenue should exceed the mid-point of this range.
Elite Dangerous has exceeded 3 million base game units. Previously the Company has reported “franchise units” for Elite Dangerous whereby the Elite Dangerous: Horizons expansion, sold at the same price as the base game, was also counted as one unit. The Company has now simplified unit reporting to state gross unit sales of the base game only. For comparative purposes cumulative franchise units for Elite Dangerous are now over 4.3 million.
The development of Frontier’s fourth game franchise is on track, with release targeted for FY20 (between 1 June 2019 and 31 May 2020).
Commanders taking part in the Mining-CG need to deliver their mined materials to the Omega Mining Operation Asteroid Base (make sure you are signed up to the CG before making deliveries!).
The first CG will officially begin on Thursday 17th January. Commanders will be able to sign up to the CG at the Asteroid Base that is hosting it.

IDA reports the repair bug which has been plaguing their efforts in the Pleiades has been fixed and so are redoubling their efforts to take repair.

“Certain Alliance factions” who don’t like LRN having Lave are actively murdering our ships which is causing these states. We’re doing what we can to counter it, but they seem to be insisting on locking Lave Station down, removing the brandy and stopping ppl from unlocking Didi Vatermann in Leesti.
On Monday as we were between states we helped to resupply the EIC and if listeners need brandy to unlock the engineer whilst supplies are low then contact Cmdr Eid LeWeise or Cmdr Whoeva in game and we can help you out.

The yellow dot to the left is my current position, 15000Ly from Sol. That same dot on the seond picture, taken from the horizontal centre shows the height/depth of the ‘known’ systems. Steph: The Betel Free, based at Amphipolis in the Betel system, have largely been a “one commander band”. Recently it looks as though there may be new recruits to the cause. If you are one such CMDR, please can you get in touch with CMDR Xena via the Lave Radio Discord Channel because the faction may become “player run” and it would be good to include everyone who has an interest.

Planet Coaster Alpha launches today – Released today
Advertise Lave Radio special stream for PC? – Alt Lave New Ad Hoc Show from the crew of the Orange Sidewinder that will focus on Movies, Video Games, Tv Shows, and Fiction. Indeed anything really that members of the crew feel is worthy of discussion outside the ED Universe. The first of these shows will focus around Planet Coast from Frontier Developments.

Poor Ishmael Palin (the prominent Barnicle expert) so far has been attacked by pirates, kidnapped and finally rescued. However his bad luck has continued as he’s now contracted the Cerberus Plague. You’d think someone has it in for him, he’s having so much bad luck. 😉
The campaign from the Canonn Interstellar Research Group to establish a new research outpost in the Col 285 Sector IX-T d3-43 system has been successful. A new outpost will be constructed ‘soon’ which will help with more research into the UA.
A rogue Farragut Battle Cruiser somewhere? There were reports last week of a Federal Battle Cruiser with Pirate markings in the LHS 3447.
Speaking of Farragut Battle Cruisers, the construction of the Latest Cruiser in the Beti Hydri system has the Empire worried. If more cruisers are constructed, sources close to Admiral Denton Patreus say that the empire might have to respond in kind.
In response to the New Battle Cruiser and rhetoric coming from the Empire; the Alliance has held a diplomatic summit at the Alliance Capital looking at possible responses.

“It’s been a long time, but we are finally able to move towards some of the things we discussed during the Kickstarter with respect to the DDF and the ability of members to decide together on significant actions within the game. There are some big events coming to the game later this year (in relation to an alien species – trying to minimise spoilers here!), and members will decide where these events first take place, and how the process moves on down the line. This will be by voting on the DDF forum with a choice of possible locations. As the events unfold, there will be further such choices going forwards.”
