AXI – People are flagging because the number of thargoid kills needing to discourage a station attack is now over 7000-8000 per system. So to save three systems you’re looking at approximately 24,000 kills? Player Fatigue is beginning to set in.
Operation IDA – Liman Legacy is still the target is still the repair target. However, Due to more successful thargoid attacks.Number of stations requiring repair is up to 26 with the vast majority of them being in the Bubble.

Operation IDA – Has almost finished Kipling Orbital , Will be selecting a new target next week.
AXI – With HIP 9141 was hit last week, the targets are Wayutabal – Kaiser Terminal, Negrito – Steakley Station and Iota Pictoris A – Barmin Dock. Hydra’s can be found in Celaeno and Merope. The Ageis Mega ships are in the Ngaiawang and Opet for some high paying scout killing missions. Rumours are that the thargoid kill count is still 5000 in order to save a system.
The Hutton Truckers are hosting one of their Hutton Races again, and it’s on a planet named…. Teide! In the Magec System (It’s actually Teide A). Up a mountain on a volcanic planet as a race for single players and teams,

Please join Privateers Alliance in November as they raise awareness and money for epilepsy organizations in the US and UK. There are a number of members in PA and across the wider Elite community who are directly affected by epilepsy, either themselves, or their loved ones.
To that end, this November, they are supporting the charities Epilepsy Action and Epilepsy Foundation.

The citizens of Colonia have been working hard to build their new home, and now it’s time they got a reward, regardless of what Customs might like to think. So with the aid of The East India Company and publicity via Lave Radio, an expedition was put together with the following goals:* Explore the “high route” to Colonia. Away from the well-trodden route via the Colonia Connection, the high route is replete with unexplored neutron stars and far away from Customs patrols, making it just ideal for the long-distance smuggler and highly profitable for the explorers.* Bring the first load of booty – anything intoxicating, but in particular Onionhead and Lavian Brandy for Colonia citizens to enjoy, to resupply Jaques Bar – sneaking it into Jaques Station, past Colonia’s most watchful customs presence…* Be in Colonia just in time for the Q4 Exploration updates! Get a head start on the new exploration mechanics! Get on one of the very last expeditions where “jonking” is still a thing!
The expedition begins on Tuesday November 20th, with a loading party at Harvestport, Kappa Fornacis and at Lave Station, Lave. The lead ship will be the Alan Mathison Turing, an Imperial Cutter fit out for long distance smugg…err, trading.
Questions
Fascinating show, especially the bit about detecting bots by the way they do it. Amazing. One thought. FD say the BGS is a background simulation. It’s not the same a ‘the rules to play by’ (as in chess). The BGS as I see it is an alternative to having a fixed ‘gamey’ set of rules that break the simulation aspect… It should FEEL random and it should present challenges to live around without FD having to manually alter things weekly.
People that game the BGS are not living the simulation, they are manipulating it. That’s not ‘simulation’.FD are likely to loosen the predictable links of the BGS in due course, but if as your speaker said, many BGS gamers are being driven away by the BOTS then it occurs to me that such might be it’s purpose……
If so, expect bots to affect the systems most actively managed. It doesn’t matter if they help or hinder, all it matters is to create the feeling in ‘gamers’ that (this) life cannot be gamed……
Enjoyed the pod.

Beyond 3.3 or Beyond Chapter 4 beta has been announced for the 30th of October. The Beta will roll out with new functionality being released every week through the month of November. The Beta is open to all PC Players who have either the base game or Horizons.
Thargoid attacks – THREE systems are now under attack, Dulerce, Li Tzicnii and Kareco. The Anti-Xeno-Initiative are defending Dulerce and Li Tzicnii and the Hive are defending Kareco (that’s where Phoenix_Dfire is if you want to say hello).
Operation IDA – Cavalieri in Electra has been successfully repaired. Their next target is Kipling Orbital in Pleiades Sector KC-V c2-11 – In other news they’ve set up their own private group to help with repair operations. Look for group Operation IDA on the Xbox, PS4 and PC. Word of Warning, there have been reports of Bugs where some items don’t appear to be counted. These bugs have been reported but Frontier have made no response. (might need 3.3 to fix). Thanks to Factabulos for compiling these figures and putting them on the forums.
Krait Mk II – recreating a classic – Interview with Art Director Chris Gregory.

A comment / no comment from Paige Hello everyone, First off, the news of this cross-platform beta for Fortnite is really exciting. As it’s just announced, we’ll be watching with interest to see how it goes! Though we’re excited, we’ve nothing to announce on how this could effect Elite Dangerous in the future. However, you’ll find all the information here on our forums, across our newsletters and social pages should that change. Thanks

Lost Souls Expedition.
This expedition is organized by The Fatherhood. We’re an Elite Dangerous community for dads, moms, or anyone with a life outside of ED that limits our game time. Our motto is, “When the kids go to bed, we go to space.”
This particular expedition is significant because we aren’t traveling across the galaxy at a pace that would leave someone like me in the dust. I can only put in a few hours a week (when I’m lucky).
We’ll be traveling 3kly a week, about an hour and a half of traveling—doable with my schedule. For the first time, I’m actually excited about exploring!
Granted, there are commanders in our community who are seasoned explorers. (CMDR Leviticus78 recently completed a circumnavigation of the galaxy that took him out for a year or so). But for many more like me, this is a chance to get my feet wet.
Perhaps you could interview some of our expedition organizers on one of your broadcasts.
You can visit our discord channel for more information. We can add you as a guest or even as an ambassador for Lave Radio. We even have a channel open to commanders who are just joining us for the expedition.

IDA – Karmov Survey was completely repaired last week. Bao Landing Is the current target for repairs.
Anti-Xeno-League – the Eagle Eye network, which has been taken offline by Thargoid Sensor bombing of Dante Enterprise. Means that we theoretically don’t know where the Thargoid attacks will come next. But Canonn has become VERY good a t guessing 🙂 rumors that new group may be implicated. – Both target systems from week 23 – Magec and HIP 30045 were successfully defended, both having the Thargoid threat repelled. The residents of both systems can breath more easily today thanks to all who assisted in these efforts. All six Eagle Eyes this week are OFFLINE – transmissions are just “system error system error system error system error.”The Aegis megaships Vanguard and Acropolois remain in Nu-1 Columbae and Magec. Thanks to the hard-working Lab 69 XIA analysts who have toured systems with Ammonia Worlds or Ammonia Gas Giants scouring for non-human signal sources, we have identified the targets as Pemepatung and LP 102-320.Coincidentally, that bumbling oaf Aden Tanner was quoted in a Galnet transmission stating that Dantec Enterprise was unable to transmit to Eagle Eye due to Thargoid Sensor interference. Really sounds like those guys could do with a few pointers from our scientists on how to handle these things safely. However, their call for meta-alloys is likely to be met by all who – like us – are concerned at possible Thargoid developments over coming weeks. Like it or not, we need Aegis support for this intelligence.–Captain Rebuy–
