Development News – what have the devs said this week?

1. Frontier unlocked live stream 31/01/2023
   1. 4 new “functionally different” ship variants released during the year
      1. Python MK 2 images were shown off
   2. Update 18 will bring a culmination to the Thargoid war and allow us to “end the Titans”. Scheduled for the 26th Feb
   3. Update 19 will re-work Power Play – no deets yet but we’ve already got a https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/rubbernuke-exe-has-stopped-working.622779/ thread. 😉
   4. Another new feature this year at some point
   5. Standard fix patches rolled out between updates
   6. Unlocked will be the last Wednesday of every month

      The 3310 Winter Olympics will continue on 24 February with Week 2 competition, featuring SRV Cross and SRV Rally courses at Cayley Barracks on 4 Eridani ABC 7 h.
      Event details are still being finalized and are subject to change.

   1. Deliveries of coral sap, impure spire minerals and semi-refined spire minerals can be made at Austen Town Station in the Arque system. As an additional incentive, paint jobs will be offered to qualifying participants. These rewards are cumulative. Top 75% of contributors: Alliance Challenger Cyclops paint job Top 50% of contributors: Alliance Crusader Cyclops paint job Top 25% of contributors: Federal Corvette Cyclops paint job
   2. It was completed on Saturday morning.
2. Thargoid War Stats, with only 2 alerts and 4 invasions were defended last week, the Thargoids have started to increase spread again. The current stats are; –
   1. Alerts – 51
   2. Invasions – 22
   3. Controlled – 408
   4. Recovery – 7
   5. With no Invasions or Alerts being stopped this week, we could lose control of an additional 38 systems as of Thursday.
3. According to Steam Charts, we’ve now got the highest number of players for more than six months.
