Development News – what have the devs said this week?

1. They are investigating an issue with the Fleet Carrier jump times. They appear to be improving as the investigation continues.
2. Commanders appear to be having trouble getting the sirius permit at the moment, if this is affecting your Engineering elevation please log your experiences with the issue tracker Here.
3. Apart from that, pretty clean release, no new major bugs.
4. Do we want to discuss the Account hijacking that seems to be reported by some twitch users? (issue tracker link)

1. What Rare Commodity would you add to Elite if you could?
   1. Freya Crescent
      Lances! Beautiful, powerful, dragon killing lances. I used to be a Dragoon Knight back on Terra, I miss fighting with a lance. I can still jump in the air and rain hell on an enemy from above though.
   2. Ben Moss-Woodward
      I would create the Hairy Haggis Pelt. It comes in White, Brown and Dark Grey and has one leg longer than the other allow it to run with ease around it’s native hilly habitat. The pelts are an excellent insulator but so coarse that a human touching them cause  a fatal skin rash.
   3. Clara Bloodwin
      The secret ingredient used in guardian alloys that was never identified. The very reason we cannot reverse engineer guardian armor, or most guardian technology. It was the corner stone of their tech.❤️❤️❤️

      Are Tribbles a thing currently? If they are then maybe copies of a guide to galactic hitchhiking, but you can only get them from Ursa Minor and never gain value.

(At your own risk)” Every one who uses Motrtee Stete understands what’s special about it, but it’s difficult to explain to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet.

       The Welly Pencils, these use a special lead extracted from the bingal tree of feelings. It writes in various colours depending on the emotions of the author. Red for angry, black for sad, blue for not bothered. It comes with a warning that if you need a wee you may get ‘other’ colours
       The dingalli criticising burgers. As a spin off from ‘rate my plate’ the criticising burgers will rate the person that eats them, down to the last mouthful. It is reccomended not to have these at the end of a bender of lavian brandy because the review on exit can be upsetting….
       Lunar x-ray glasses
       availablility, Galileo, the moon
       Contrary to what you may think these glasses do not give you superhuman powers but are a legacy from early lunar colonisation. There was a fear that exposure to too many x-rays would make you blind even more than teenagers private hobbies. The smallville glasses company patented a sapphire glass that is totally opaque to x-rays. The fashion was at it’s peak in the 2380s along with a resurgence of attaching bottletops to trainers, but now this outdated fashion accesory is only available in limited numbers. If you can find a vintage pair with a bakalite frame you could buy your very own sidewinder with it’s value! Most modern pairs only have cheap imitation plastic frames though.
       It’s important to note that will has been pretty prolific with these answers and you can find even more than this in the discord.
