   1. Ben Moss-Woodward –  Colin
      I think that Tharg the Mighty is putting her hat into the Federal Presidential Election! They will stand on a platform of Unity and crunchy snacks for all
   2. Epaphus – Clare
      Something is bound to happen during the election so Hudson can hold onto power for little longer.
      I’m suspect what ever is happening at the Thargoid barnacle matrix sites will give the Thargoids a stronger foothold to push us back.
   3. MartGamer – Colin
      Breaking news. UPDATE 17 brings a swift end to the thargoid SleeperSapien plans when they find out their trigger phrase “Prime Big Deal” has already been copyrighted by Amazon Intergalactic. Bezos declares checkmate!
   4. Zellith – Chris
      My predictions for Update 17 are that I don’t notice there has been a patch >.>  I generally just follow the galnet news articles while exploring in the black.  I never seem to get updates!
   5. Cylus Resi – Alec
      Probably Davina McCall making sure her birthday party guests can visit and not make the usual “No permit innit, mate” excuse.
   6. M. V. Coehoorn – Clare
      I predict a timed challenge/puzzle at the matured Barnacle Matrix sites, probably including new soundtracks to grind on our nerves.
      With the bigger Thargoid drone using seeker missiles, which cannot be countered via PD turrets, it will be incredibly difficult for solo players.
   7. HappyMoonMonkey – Chris
      Halloween update. Megaship mystery. New generation ship found. “Thargoid attacked” but with too many inconsistent clues leading to actual conclusion being humans. Resurgence of pirate attacks from mysterious Consortium as a result of destabilisation of the bubble from Thargoids and elections. Also, panther clipper.
   8. RimeNZ –  Alec
      If we are getting a permit for Sol, I’m guessing Sol/Earth is going to get attacked by the Thargoids. If the Mar’s artifact is still in Sol, maybe something involving that too.
   9. Chebs Will – Clare
      A severe thargoid counter attack, and I’m still hoping for landing on ammonia worlds. At least we should be able to get drinks at the bar…. I’d buy that for a dollar
