In-Game Events – what’s happened this week?

1. Lakon spaceways appear to be on the verge of collapse due to ‘underhand’ market practices. Leading to….

3. Sirius announces trouble with the Ammonia worlds conversion process (some  people suspect that was never their intent).
4. Utopia calls for a summit of the superpowers to diffuse tension.
5. The Terrorist Threat seems to have subsided due to the Marlonists getting their own worlds.
6. Major Thargoid attack. The first major attack by the thargoids in a couple of years with systems in both the coalsack nebula and the witch head nebula under attack. The AXI say they can’t repulse all the systems so they’re concentrating on the coalsack. As of this moment, only one system out of nine has been pacified.

1. The first Buckyball race of the 3307 season – Sidewinder Fuel Finder. Race starts on Saturday (9th) and runs until the following Sunday (17th). It’s being run by HojoTheFool and is themed around a Fuel Rat rescue mission with competitors having to get from the Pleiades to Fuelum in a mostly stock Sidey (but a decent FSD), initially without even a Fuel Scoop.
